As a used vehicle, It would have been nice to have a little more time than on the spot at signing to consider a extended warranty. Also a shorter period than 6 years, such as 3 years for a used vehicle would be nice and more attractive from a price point. As the vehicle I purchased was not an Acura product. A little more time to understand how the warranty process could work would be nice. As the work would likely not be done at the Carter dealership. It would be nice to understand how this works. I have purchased extended warranties in the past and was not able to use them without weeks of follow up and ridiculous levels of details to justify the payment for service. In this past example, I found the extended warranty to be of little value. It would have been nice to have a little time to explore the warranty offered beyond a on the spot "sign or its gone". I would still consider a 3 year type agreement if its available. If, I could spend perhaps a day or two to see how the Toyota in this case dealers respond to accepting the offered coverage. For example, do they welcome the coverage and have a history dealing with it. Just my suggestion on a possible improvement and potential sales in the future for the extended warranty package. I would have liked to have it. But, was cautious about dropping over $3k on something I could not confirm was going to be useful when needed. An overall good experience. As I paid cash, I cannot speak to the financing other than a brief conversation which was pleasant and professional. The facility is very nice and easily accessible. To date, the post sale follow up has been good. I would recommend Lin Loya and Carter Acura to others seeking a vehicle. Lin was very helpful and accessible to answer questions and available to show the car I wanted on my schedule.

While waiting for an oil change we were attracted to a red RDX on the showroom floor. Sales representative Holly had a similar car with options we wanted made available for our inspection and test drive. Th purchase went smoothly with attractive finance option available. Subsequent return to have a trailer hitch and roof rack went very smoothly with Khadeejah Musa, our service representative guiding the transaction. We love the car and continue to be impressed with its quietness and many user friendly options. We drive two hours from Oak Harbor to take advantage of the Acura agency for quality work in maintaining our car.

I highly recommend Carter Acura of Lynwood for your new or used car buying needs. My recommendation is based on the high quality of customer service, the integrity and longevity of the dealership being long-standing community members, and most importantly, their inconspicuous methods of decreasing stress and pressure, which is an inherent feature of car buying. I was headed to CarMax of Lynwood but accidentally ended up on the lot of Carter Acura of Lynwood (for those unfamiliar with the area, the two dealerships are next to each other). When I pulled up, I could see the team was meeting in the showroom in progress. I walked the lot looking at cars when I realized CarMax was next door. As I was headed back to my car, the manager, David, left the meeting to greet me. He was friendly and immediately engaged me in phatic conversation. Long story short, David connected me to a salesperson named Connor. I have to be transparent. I had no interest in buying a car from this dealership, nor was I enthusiastic about meeting with Connor, but I kept an open mind. Connor was equally friendly as David and worked hard to get my business without pressure or sleazy sales tactics. He asked me what my dealbreakers were, and worked hard to overcome them. I would be remiss if I did not mention how skillful Connor was at building rapport. During the test drive, there was a lull of silence that he did not try to fill, which made me feel more comfortable. He was not pushy and treated me with dignity and respect without being patronizing. I noticed the other salespeople doing the same with other customers. During the lull between the car being prepared and the paperwork being finalized, like David, Connor engaged me in phatic conversation that appeared genuine. Although part of the process included me talking to Connor and Connor talking to David, I often inserted myself in the back and forth. And while I know this is not how this works, they never once frowned on me for doing so. David acknowledged how stressful it was to buy a car and that he values transparency and authenticity. He continued, "I live in this community. If I see you at the grocery store, I want to wave at you and ask you how your car is, not avoid you because you felt someway about the car buying process." And this sums up why you should buy your next car from Carter Acura of Lynwood. Finally, I did not have money on me. So they allowed the sale to go through, and after everything was over, Connor drove to where I live to accept my down payment in the form of a check. This added transaction would not have happened at one of the big dealerships. Again, I highly recommend seeing Connor and David at Carter Acura of Lynwood to meet your car buying needs. We have bought cars from the Carter group before. But this was our first time to Carter Acura. They service was just like all of our other experiences with the Carter auto family. Go see them for sales or service you will no ne disappointed.

Buying a car can be stressful; researching, finding the best price, finding the deals and promotions, and dealing with sales person who wants to maximize their profit with all the numbers thrown at you. I can't say that for the salesperson, Radar Seahawks, I had pleasure working with at Carter Acura in Lynnwood. Of course, I have done the research, communicated prior to stopping by the do test drive and do the paper work, which made process bit faster. We arrived to the dealership around 5 PM, which was about an hour before closure. We view the inventory and, test drive the car then got into numbers and paperwork. There are definitely vultures and pirates out there who just want to sell, sell, sell instead making the personal connection. Working with Radar felt more like working with a friend or person you knew who will try their best to work with you rather than just sell you a product and get you out the door with the invoice. I am grateful to had a Radar as my salesperson and not other sales person. So, if you in the market for new car in puget sound area and you are thinking Acura, please do a bit of research and contact Radar at Carter Acura of Lynnwood. P.S He speaks Cambodian as well.

Amazing service during sale & after!I purchased a 2006 Acura MDX from Acura of Lynnwood mid October 2019. The car was spotless, in perfect condition, and had full lifetime service records of only ever being serviced through Acura. My experience purchasing the vehicle was quick and painless. I was had was pre-approved for financing before arriving, the sales team did not pressure me to finance through them or purchase extras I didn't want/need (though they were offered). They worked with me to bring the price to what I wanted to pay, with out any stress or hassle. Best car buying experience I'd ever had! Unfortunately 2 weeks later my drive line broke! I was devastated. I had my car towed to the dealership, where they offered to pay for the entire repair free of charge! Once again a painless process, no haggling or arguing, they took care of me and I can't be more thankful. At the time I had access to a vehicle through a friend, but the repair took longer than expected, so Acura got me a rental vehicle (they did not have any available loaners), also free of charge. When my MDX was repaired I was able to drop the rental off at the dealership and take my baby home. I am so glad I chose to buy my car through Acura of Lynnwood, I knew that I would get much better service than at a gravel lot and I couldn't have been more right. They have won my life long appreciation and patronage!

Great sales experience. Exceptionally helpful service team - a major reason I bought from this dealership. The finance process - as usual - is mostly focused on selling additional accessories and services. Information on these add-ons is presented only at the last minute, so the customer doesn't have time to thoroughly assess their worth. This is obviously where the dealership makes a lot of their profit. Caveat emptor. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Everything was good sales guy was awesome. There was a check engine light on the car that I never found out what that was and was never given an answer after I left. Other than that good experience
